Luna is a floor lamp made out of steel and coated with many layers of varnish. I initially liked the idea of having the structure of the lamp go beyond the lampshade as most lamps culminate with a lampshade at the top. And, to me, the circular base and the interlocked circular shapes of the lamp remind me of the moon in orbit, hence the name 'luna'.
