This little animation is about symbioses and how Sille, the main character, forms a connection with the forest around her.

In this animation, Sille stumbles upon a nice clearing in the forest. She lays down on the ground and starts to sink into the earth while the forest swallows her like a growing fungus.

She doesn’t disappear. Rather, her body is projected up into the canopy above her. She now moves with the wind and the leaves.

The animation frames are made with ink on paper. The animation is put together frame-by-frame.
